Years ago, Walter White first appeared on our screens as a hard-working chemistry teacher. From there we saw him transforming step-by-step into a devious, arrogant and stellar meth kingpin, Heisenberg. Throughout his transformation journey, we sympathised with Heisenberg, justified his violent actions, detested him for his megalomaniac arrogance, but remained his patrons all along.
We all share a love-hate relationship with Heisenberg but then we watch him build batteries from trash items, make explosives, use a giant magnet to destroy police evidence from afar and can’t help but say – Heisenberg is truly a wonder. Laced with megalomania, violence and darkness, Heisenberg is a faint, discreet line between good and bad. This may also be the reason why we resonate with him so much.
